Bring Hidden Things Into the Light

Lately, I feel like the Lord has been gently showing me that healing starts when He helps us see what is hidden in our hearts. Sometimes He brings things into the light, not because He is angry with us or wants us to feel bad, but because He loves us. He wants to help us grow, heal the places that hurt, and draw us closer to Him.

God is like a loving gardener. 🌱 He knows everything about us. He sees every tear, every hurt, every fear, and every struggle. Nothing is hidden from Him, and He loves us completely. Sometimes there are things growing in our hearts that do not belong there…fear, bitterness, unforgiveness, rejection, insecurity, or wrong thoughts about ourselves and about God. We may not even realize they are there until His light shines on them.

When God shows us these things, He is not trying to embarrass or shame us. He is helping us. He shines His light so He can heal us, restore us, and set us free. He lovingly shows us what is hidden because He wants to make us whole again.

“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.” — Psalm 139:23–24 (NLT)

“He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.” — Psalm 147:3 (NLT)

“The LORD says, ‘I will give you back what you lost to the swarming locusts, the hopping locusts, the stripping locusts, and the cutting locusts.'” — Joel 2:25 (NLT)

Father, please search our hearts. Show us anything that is keeping us from being close to You. Shine Your light into every hidden place. If there is fear, bitterness, unforgiveness, rejection, insecurity, or unbelief in us, please help us see it and give it to You. Help us trust You like a child. Heal the hurts inside us and help us believe what You say about us. Take away the lies and fill our heart with Your truth. Replace our fears with faith, our sadness with joy, and our feelings of rejection with the comfort of knowing that we are loved by You. Please restore the places in our lives that have been hurt by pain, loss, disappointment, or sin. Help us trust You even when growing is hard. Remind us that everything You do comes from Your love. Thank You for being kind and patient with us. Thank You for never giving up on us…

We love You, Father so much 🙌🏼

We love You, Jesus.

We love You, Holy Spirit.

We give everything to You.  We feel a shout of hallelujah bubbling up out of our spirits. 🙌🏼

Lord, we want You. Oh how we love you, Father.

More than blessings. More than answers.
More than anything this world can offer.

We want You…. There’s no body like you, Father.

Fill our hearts, our homes, our churches, and our lives with Your presence. Let us share Your love wherever we go. Let us bring Your peace into every room and help others see Jesus through our lives.  Keep working in us, Lord. Sometimes growing hurts. Sometimes letting go is hard. Sometimes the roots go deep… so deep

But we trust You, our Gardener.

Because You bring new life.🦋

You help good fruit grow. 🕊️🌱

And everything You plant will bloom for Your glory.
